The Scoop on the GEDGED stands for General Education Development. This is a series of tests for people who want to acquire a high school diploma. By passing the GED test, the student gets a high school diploma from the Kansas Board of Regents. TestsThe GED is comprised of five multiple choice tests and an essay test that can be taken all at one time or one at a time. Testing must be completed within 90 days of starting.

How much does it cost to take the GED?The GED test will cost each student $68 to take. Retakes are also $68. Is free instruction available for qualified students?Yes. Where do I take the exam?Although instruction is given in Coffeyville, testing is completed at Independence Community College or Labette Community College in Parsons, Kansas.
