Learning LabFall 2007 HoursLearning lab hours are as follows: Helpful DocumentsAbout the Learning LabThe Learning Lab provides tutoring services to students enrolled at Coffeyville Community College. The primary goal of the lab is to help students be successful in college by providing individualized instruction to strengthen academic skills. Located on the lower level of the library, the lab is staffed with two full-time instructors, two part-time tutors and many student tutors who have excellent math and English skills and specialize in other subject areas. The Learning Lab is equipped with many supplemental study aids including computers, educational software, audio cassettes, and video tapes. Word processors are available for aid in preparation of reports or other course material. In addition to the individualized instruction, students can meet with other students for group study sessions which can be set up by making arrangements in advance. Students can also take College Preparation courses that are available through the Learning Lab in the math, English, and reading areas. In these courses, students are able to work in a supervised structure and have the advantage of immediate tutoring assistance.
