Welding Instructor - Baxter Springs
Gale Hess brings 41 years of shop and field welding experience to the classroom. His unique and varied welding techniques expertise includes: welded boiler tubes under X-ray, military standard certified welds for torpedo hatches, navy destroyers, and battery cans for guided missiles and smart bombs, and precision welding for parts going on nuclear submarines. Gale also developed and ran his own shop in Melrose, Kan. focused on building equipment for the cattle industry. Gale strives to help students gain the welding skills and work ethic demanded by industry.
Students from Baxter Springs, Riverton and Galena High Schools can learn welding from Gale at CCC Welding Technology Program classes held at Baxter Springs High School.
