Dear Band Director,

Happy New Year! I hope your new year is off to a great start. The 2008 Symphony of Winds Festival is alive more than ever and we are excited to have you with us this year. In this packet, you will receive the following:

Music for the Raven and Red bands.
A list of students from your school that has registered along with their band placement and part.
List of conductors and clinicians for the day.
Itinerary for the day.
Map of the campus.
Places to each during lunch. There will be complimentary breakfast and lunch for the directors as well as a lounge area for directors, drivers, and chaperones.

Because of the amount of interest in our festival this year, we had to cut certain instruments (based upon recommendation and instrumentation). Your students will learn during the day and enjoy the music selections, educators, and order of events scheduled for them.

Payment: We ask that you send only one check per school (booster organization or school district). There is a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per student. Checks should be payable to Coffeyville Community College Bands. Payment is due by Monday, February 11, 2008.

Concert Attire: Males in slacks, shirt and tie and females should be a dress or appropriate outfit.

Humes Music will be on hand to take care of any instrumental repairs and any other needs (reeds, oils, new instruments, and etc).
