The
Vo-Agriculture Program
(High School Only)
The Vocational
Agriculture Program involves the study of many agriculture areas. It
provides students the opportunity to practice what they've learned in the
classroom in real-life situations and to develop leadership skills, work
habits and attitudes current with industry. It integrates a multitude of
perspectives on animal education. This is a secondary program only.
Competencies within
the program utilize practical skills in management, business and marketing.
Some of these skills are learned by working with people, but many skills
require formal training. Through proper training students can become
responsible farm managers by gathering records and other information needed
to make sound farm business decisions.
