Coffeyville Community College will host the North American Colleges & Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Judging Conference April 12-14, 2012. With the help of local volunteers and sponsors, CCC will host 13 contests that will test student skills in the agricultural field.

The Coffeyville Community College Agricultural Departments hosted nine different contest for area FFA and 4-H students. Students tested their knowledge by competing in agribusiness and speech contests, livestock, poultry, dairy foods, meat judging, entomology, floriculture, and nursery landscape judging.

Coffeyville Community College Sophomores Cale Markham and Parker Warner split the first place title at the Kansas State University College Rodeo February 17-19th to help land the CCC Rodeo team in second place.

CCC Freshman Blaine Lotz, of Edna, Kan. competed in Greeley, Colorado in his first ever auctioneering competition. Not only did Lotz compete, he dominated the competition and was crowned champion on Tuesday, January 18, 2012.
