Meats Judging Coach
Tyler Hickman is a native of Bristow, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Food Industry. Tyler was a member of the 2003 Oklahoma State University Meats Judging Team. He reached the top 10 individuals in five out of seven contests. This includes being high individual at the American Meat Science Association’s International Contest. Tyler was one of only six to have ever accomplished this from Oklahoma State University. Tyler coached the 2005 Oklahoma State University Meats Judging Team as an undergraduate where they finished 4th in the nation. In the spring of 2006, Tyler coached the high team at the National Western Contest in Denver Colorado. Tyler was hired onto the CCC staff in the summer of 2006. In the spring of 2007, the Red Raven meats team were runners-up at the Houston Livestock and Rodeo meats contest and are looking forward to another very successful year. |
