State Farm Donates Car to CCC Auto Collision Program

The car donated by State Farm to the CCC Collision Repair program.

Local State Farm Agent Harold Mann serves on the Coffeyville Community College Collision Repair program advisory committee and understands the goals and objectives to train a skilled workforce.  When the opportunity arose for State Farm to donate a vehicle that had been totaled, Mann jumped on the opportunity to help.

The car State Farm donated will be utilized by the CCC Collision Repair program to teach competencies to students, including damage assessment and estimating, parts look up, structural and non-structural repair, paint prep, paint matching, paint mixing and finishing.  The donation is a valuable tool for CCC to provide students with a real-life training opportunity.

"The College appreciates Harold's assistance to secure the donation for the program,” said David Johnson, CCC Collision Repair instructor.
