Athletic Training scholarships are offered each semester to students from Kansas who are interested in continuing their education in a health-related field (medicine, athletic training, physical therapy, nursing). In return for the scholarship, the student is expected to work in the athletic training rooms and help with the everyday activities of treatment and rehabilitation of student athletes. The Athletic Training scholarship provides Kansas tuition and the loan of books. The books must be returned at the end of each semester. A recipient must maintain a 2.5 grade point average in all college work. Students who excel academically (3.5 GPA or better in high school) may be eligible for a Presidential Scholarship and participation in the Honors Program.
