Tryouts

Consent to Participate and Waiver of Liability Form (PDF, must be filled out and submitted to the cheer coaches prior to participating in tryouts).

The CCC Cheer Team has removed the traditional tryout from the program.  Instead, the team is moving to an open audition method.  Here is how the audition works:

• Prospective cheer student-athletes can visit campus on one of the senior visit days (March 26 or April 9) or another date that works around the student's schedule.
   
• In the morning meeting at Nellis Gym at 10 a.m. (March 26 or April 9), students will be given a tour of the CCC campus and facilities.
   
• After lunch, prospective students will practice with the current CCC Cheer Team.  This will give prospective students a chance to see if they will mesh with the current team and team philosophy.  Practices will include stunting (co-ed and/or all girl) and tumbling.
   
• Also, while on campus, students will have a short interview with coaches.  In this interview, coaches will discuss possible placement on the team and scholarship information.
