The Hall of Fame has been a dream of many to recognize the outstanding achievements by former great football players, coaches, and special boosters. When Dick Foster retired in 1997 from the University of Oklahoma, one of his main goals was to form an active Red Raven Lettermen’s Association and a Coffeyville Community College Football Hall of Fame.

In May 1998, the Lettermen’s Association was formed and put into operation. It has two major functions each year, one during Homecoming with the Hall of Fame Banquet, and the second, a summer golf tournament held in either Coffeyville, Kansas City, or Wichita. The money goes toward this banquet, publications, and social functions. Members will receive a newsletter two times per year.

Each year during Homecoming, a banquet is held. This year’s selections were made by the selection committee: Chairman Dick Foster, Nolan Luhn, Nick Howell, Tommy Sesto, Skip Foster, and Bill Mills. Any member of the Lettermen’s Association may submit names for consideration to be voted upon by the selection committee.

Below is the Mission Statement of the Lettermen’s Association. If you are a former Red Raven Letterman and would like to join the Association, please contact Dick Foster at 620.251.7935 or Cheryl Burk, Administrative Assistant for Athletics, at 620.252.7299.
