#3 Snow holds off #13 Ravens in Top of the Mountains BowlThe Red Ravens battled back from a 20-7 halftime deficit to take a 21-20 lead in the second half. Snow, though, would score the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter and hold off the feisty Ravens 26-21 in the Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl played in Salt Lake City, Utah, on December 2. The Ravens end the 2006 campaign with a 7-4 overall record. Bryan Savage completed 10-of-19 passes for 152 yards and three TDs for the Ravens. Five of the passes were caught by Deon Murphy, including two for TDs. Blair Irvin hauled in three passes for 24 yards, Donte Rogers had a 19 yard reception for a touchdown and Nate Morris caught one pass for seven yards. Tyrone Wilson was the leading rusher for the Ravens with 97 yards on 14 carries. Nate Guillory added 55 yards rushing on 11 carries and Savage had 4 carries for 22 yards. A.J. Evans ran for eight yards on three carries and Murphy had one rush for three yards. The Ravens amassed 334 yards of total offense for the game, 182 rushing and 152 through the air. Snow College passed for 253 yards on the game and added 155 rushing yards for 408 yards of total offense. |
