Bill Williamson will be entering his sixth season in 2007-2008.
Williamson had the first national qualifier of his tenure in 2004 with Bryan
Lentz of Atchison, Kansas. The 2007 team qualified for the national
tournament in their first season of Division I play.
Williamson is retired from Halliburton and
lives with wife, Pam, in a cabin off of Havana Lake near Caney, Kansas.
Williamson is a coach who believes in enjoying the game of golf and he
annually schedules a trip to play several area courses not on the
competitive schedule. In November, 2002, the team competed at a
tournament on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in 2004, the team played
several courses in the Oklahoma City area after graduation.
Williamson regularly host cookouts for the team at his lake cabin.
Jamie Fisher
Assistant Coach
Jamie Fisher will be entering his first year on the
Red Raven coaching staff. Fisher was a former player for Coach
Williamson, and a member of his first team as the Raven’s coach. Jamie
was a member of the 2004 team that finished Runner-up in the Regional
Division II Golf Tournament. After playing for Williamson for two years
and graduating from Coffeyville Community College in 2004, Coach Fisher
transferred to Northeastern State University. At Northeastern, Fisher
was involved in countless activities, and heavily involved in his
fraternity while receiving his degree in Public Relations and Marketing.
Fisher is also helping in the Sports Information Department. |
