Designated Women's Coffeyville Tournament Scores (April 7, 2008)
Ravens place fifth at final conference tourney; place fifth overall
in conference
The Raven golf team traveled to Hutchinson on April
19-20 to compete in their final conference tournament. Sophomore
Brandon Keen led way in scoring for the Ravens. Keen shot rounds
of 76, 73, and 88 to finish in seventh place overall.
Kyle Nash shot rounds of 80, 81, and 87 for a
54-hole total of 248. Lyle Eddie had rounds of 80, 78, and 93 for
a grand total of 251. Coffeyville native Kyler Brown shot rounds
of 85, 81, and 86 for a total of 252, and Eddie Hall rounded out the
Ravens scoring with rounds of 87, 80, and 87 for a 254 total. [more]
Ravens place fourth at William Jewell Spring Invitational
The Red Raven golf team battled Mother Nature at the William Jewell
Spring Invitational April 10-11 in Liberty, Missouri, but battled the
elements to place fourth. The Ravens shot a team score of 296 the
opening round on April 11. The following day, the players had to
compete in rain, sleet, snow and gusty winds. The Ravens shot 327
in the difficult conditions for a 36 hole total of 623 and a fourth

Brittany
Roper signs with Red Raven golf
Caney, Kansas, native Brittany Roper recently
signed a letter of intent to play golf next school year for Coffeyville
Community College. Roper played high school golf for Caney Valley High
School in Caney. Roper made the All-League team her junior and senior
years and qualified for 3A state tournament her junior season. Brittany
is the daughter of Brent Roper of Caney, Kansas and Lori Roper of
Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Raven men place fifth at Turkey Creek
tournament
The Red Raven golf team
traveled to McPherson, Kansas on April 7 to play in their fifth
conference tournament of the season. Coffeyville came into the
tournament in a tie for sixth place in the overall conference standings.
The Ravens shot an opening
round 308 in the cold and windy weather. Coffeyville native Kyler Brown
and Lyle Eddy of Glenpool, Oklahoma, both shot opening rounds 75.
Overall, the Ravens ended the round in a fourth place tie with Kansas

Raven golfers open spring season with tourney at Fort Smith
The Red Raven golf team
opened the spring 2008 season with a tournament in Fort Smith,
Arkansas on Feb. 25-26. The tournament was played at the
Hardscrabble Country Club, a par 70 course designed by renowned golf
course architect Perry Maxwell.
Ravens complete fall golf season at Blue Devil Classic
The Red Raven golf team traveled to Kansas City on
October 15-16 to play in the annual Blue Devil Classic hosted by Kansas
City Kansas Community College. The tournament was played on the
Dub's Dread Golf Course in Kansas City.
The Ravens fired an opening round 317 on October
15, and were led by the steady playing of freshman Eddie Hall. [more]
Ravens finish tied for fifth at Winfield tourney; Hall takes third
individually
The Red Raven golf team traveled to Winfield,
Kansas this past Monday to play in their final KJCCC designated
tournament for the fall season. The Ravens finished tied for fifth place
in the 36-hole tournament.
After the first round the Ravens were sitting in
sixth place, but the team battled back in the second round to finish in
a tie for fifth place with Barton County. [more]
Raven golfers fourth at conference tourney in Hesston
The Raven golf team came out firing on all
cylinders this past Monday, September 24, as they finished in fourth
place in the second KJCCC designated tournament played at the Hesston
Golf Park in Hesston, Kansas.
By placing fourth, the Ravens picked up two notches
in the overall season conference standings, moving from seventh to fifth

Ravens place third at NEO Invitational
The Red Raven golf team traveled to Miami, Oklahoma on Monday,
September 17 to compete in the NEO Invitational Tournament. The
tournament was a 36-hole event at Peoria Ridge Golf Course.
The Ravens put together a solid performance to claim the third
place. Missouri State-West Plains won the tournament with NEO finishing
second. The Ravens were led by Eddie Hall, a freshman from Owasso,
Oklahoma. Hall shot rounds of 74-76 for a 36-hole total of 150. Hall
finished tied for second in the tournament and his 74 was the second
lowest round of the tournament. [more]
