The Coffeyville Community College men's cross country teams competed at the Jayhawk Conference/Region VI Championships this past Saturday in Overland Park, Kan. and placed fourth in the Jayhawk East.
Sophomore Will Taylor completed the 8k event in 26:46, setting a new school record. The previous record of 26:57 had been held by Matt Henderson since 2004.
The CCC cross country teams competed at their second event of the season on Saturday at the Maple Leaf Invitational hosted by Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan.
The Coffeyville Community College men's cross country team finished the season with a 25th place finish at the NJCAA National Cross Country Championship on Nov. 12.

The men's cross country team competed at the Southwest Baptist University Twilight on Sept. 2. The Ravens were the lone community college team competing in the 5k event.
