Injury-riddled Ravens pull away for 67-55 win over ButlerThe Ravens, who led 29-28 at the half, pulled away from Butler in the second half for a 67-55 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday night at Nellis Hall. The Ravens, playing without three key players, held Butler to 38% shooting from the field and forced 21 Grizzly turnovers. The Ravens, 4-1 on the season, shot 49% from the field for the game and took advantage of a plethora of shots inside the paint. Daniel Payne had 19 points for Coffeyville including a 7-for-7 effort from the field. Barry Eberhardt added 18 points for the Ravens and a team-high seven rebounds. J.J. Seymore came off the bench for 13 points. Aaron Jackson had a team-high seven assists. Donnel Reaves had 14 points and seven rebounds to pace the Grizzlies. Tyree Evans was held to 10 points. The Ravens hit the road to Kirkwood, Iowa this weekend. On Friday, the Ravens will play Illinois Central at 6 p.m. and on Saturday, the Ravens take on John Wood at 4 p.m. The Ravens will then travel to Miami, Oklahoma on Nov. 28 for an 8 p.m. tip off with NEO. The Ravens return home on November 28 when they will entertain the Mid-America Nazarene JV at 7 p.m. in Nellis Hall. |
