Ravens win seventh straight conference titleThe Red Ravens won their seventh straight KJCCC East Conference title with Saturday's 77-70 win over Cowley at Arkansas City. J.J. Seymore and Barry Eberhardt scored 20 points each as the Ravens improved to 14-2 in the KJCCC East and to 24-4 overall. Brandon Kennedy added 16 points and Daniel Payne hit double-figures with 12. The Ravens will finish the regular season with two games this week. On Wednesday night, the Ravens will travel to Highland to face the Scotties. Tip off is at 7 p.m. The Ravens will end the regular season on Saturday night when they will host the Independence Pirates at 7:30 p.m. in Nellis Hall. The Ravens will begin Region 6 Tournament play on Wednesday, March 7. The Ravens will play at 8 p.m. with Butler as the likely opponent. After Wednesday, the Region 6 Tournament will move to Wichita, March 10-13. Opposition and game times will be announced. |
