#11 Ravens hold off Scotties, 72-58The Red Ravens, despite a mechanical problem with the team bus on the way to Highland, did arrive in time for the game on Wednesday night. The Ravens had fewer issues with the Highland Scotties. The Ravens improved to 15-2 in KJCCC East play and to 25-4 overall with a 72-58 win over the Scotties. Barry Eberhardt led four Ravens in double-figures with 17 points. He also added a team-high eight rebounds. Daniel Payne scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds, and Brandon Kennedy added 13 points and six rebounds. Tarod Sanders scored 11 points in the first half before injuring the same shoulder that caused him to miss the 2005-2006 season. The Ravens played the entire game without J.J. Seymore who was out with a broken finger. The Red Ravens will finish the regular season by hosting intra-county rival Independence on Saturday night. Tip off for the men's game will be at 7:30 p.m. at Nellis Hall. Coffeyville will host a Region 6 first round playoff game on Wednesday, March 7. The Ravens will play Butler at 8 p.m. in Nellis Hall.
