Ravens first half surge enough to hold off Fort Scott, 77-67The Red Ravens led 42-23 at halftime aided by strong inside play and several highlight reel dunks. Fort Scott got as close as six in the second half, but the Ravens held off a pesky Greyhounds team 77-67 Saturday night in Nellis Hall. Daniel Payne had 25 points for Coffeyville on eight-for-eight shooting from the floor including three three-pointers and a six-for-six night from the free throw line. Barry Eberhardt added 17 points for the Ravens. Arsenio Williams had 20 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Greyhounds attack. The Ravens are back home on Wednesday, January 24, when they host Cowley at 8 p.m. in Nellis Hall. The Ravens are now 5-1 in the KJCCC East and 15-3 overall. |
