#11 Ravens roll by Pirates in regular season finaleThe Ravens led by just one at the break, 27-26, and played most of the second half without leading-scorer Barry Eberhardt who got into foul trouble, but still managed to pull away for a 74-61 win over Independence at Nellis Hall in Coffeyville. The Ravens conclude the regular season with a 26-4 overall mark and a 16-2 conference record. The Ravens will be hosting Butler at 8 p.m. on March 7 at Nellis Hall in the first round of the Region 6 playoffs. The Ravens were region champions in 2006 and have won the region tournament four out of the last five years. Against the Pirates on sophomore night, freshman Daniel Payne came off the bench for a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Ja'Mal Stewart continues to heat up during the stretch drive, scoring 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor. Aaron Jackson had 13 points, six rebounds and six assists and Brandon Kennedy added nine points and six rebounds. Tyrone Evans was high scorer for the Pirates with 19 points.
