#11 Ravens too much for Pioneers in 101-57 victoryThe Ravens defeated the MidAmerica Nazarene JV Pioneers 101-57 on Tuesday night in the Ravens final tune-up before the annual Jayhawk Shoot-Out. With the win Jay Herkelman now has 299 wins as Head Coach of the Ravens. Barry Eberhardt scored 22 first half points on the way to 31 point effort. Daniel Payne added 14 points and Ja'Mal Steward came off the bench for 13. Johnathan Blake had nine points and a team-high eight rebounds. Brandon Kennedy and Learie Duncan had five assists each for the Ravens. Ben Swinger had 13 points to pace the Pioneers and Austin Boots added 12. Coffeyville held a 42 to 23 rebounding edge over the Pioneers and the Ravens dished out 32 assists on 42 made field goals. Coffeyville is now 8-1 on the season and will be action Friday and Saturday night at the Coffeyville Resources Jayhawk Shoot-Out in Coffeyville. Coffeyville will play Seward County at 7 p.m. on Friday night and on Saturday night, will take on Cloud County at 7 p.m. |
