Central Arizona wins women's title; Central Arizona and South Plains split men's title

Central Arizona College and South Plains College (Levelland, Texas) split the men's national title at the 2007 National Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Central Arizona won the women's title with South Plains coming in second.

The following coaches and athletes received the following awards:

  • Men's Coach of the Year - Pat Becker - Hutchinson.

  • Women's Coach of the Year - Tony Dougherty - Central Arizona.

  • Women's Field Athlete of the Meet - Kelsey Poljansek - Cowley County

  • Women's Track Athlete of the Meet - Aybuke Kizilarslan - Central Arizona.

  • Men's Track Athlete of the Meet - Patrick Lee - South Plains.

  • Men's Field Athlete of the Meet - Adonson Shallow - Central Arizona.

  • Men's Coach of the Meet - Al Shirley (Central Arizona) and Chris Beene (South Plains).

  • Women's Coach of the Meet - Tony Dougherty - Central Arizona.

  • Women's Assistant Coach of the Year - Mike McKee - Rend Lake.

  • Men's Assistant Coach of the Year - Ralph Jones - Central Arizona.
