Coffeyville Community College will honor fall athletic achievements at a banquet on Dec. 7th. The banquet will be held in the CCC Student Union Cafeteria starting at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and an RSVP by 9 a.m. on Dec. 2 is advised. A pasta buffet will be served.

All-Jayhawk Conference teams and All-District teams were announced and two Coffeyville Red Ravens were named to the first team. Sophomore outside hitter Frances Taylor and freshman setter Carolina Machado were each named first team All-Conference and first team All-District. Taylor was also named Jayhawk Player of the Year.

The Coffeyville Red Ravens fell one win short of advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament after falling to Cowley in the District N championship game on Saturday afternoon in Arkansas City, Kan.

The Coffeyville Red Ravens improved to 32-9 on the season with a 3-2 victory over NEO on Monday night. The Red Ravens honored sophomores midway through the contest and they will have fond memories of their final home appearnace.

A total of 35 Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens were honored for their academic performance by the NJCAA for the 2014-2015 academic year. Coffeyville had the most number of accolades of any community college in the nation including four athletes who received the Pinnacle Award, the highest academic honor bestowed by the NJCAA.
