Long to continue volleyball career at Cameron University

Coffeyville Community College volleyball stand-out Whitney Long will continue her career at Cameron University located in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Long will be graduating from CCC in December and starting classes at Cameron in January.  Long also received an academic scholarship from Cameron.

"I am so proud of Whitney," said CCC Head Coach Delice Downing.  "She will make a huge impact for Cameron University.  She learned so much here and I know that she will learn even more."

Long, a sophomore middle blocker, was fourth on the Ravens in kills this past season.  Her best game of the season came against Highland on September 30.  Long had 17 kills with just one error, hitting a whopping 48%.  She also recorded three blocks.

"She will be hard to replace," said Downing.  "I wish Whitney all the luck in the world."
