#15 Ravens defeat Allen County, fall to Hesston

The #15 Red Ravens had a mixed bag of results in their last couple of matches.  The Ravens hosted Allen County on September 26 and defeated the Red Devils in three games.  The Ravens won by near-identical scores of 30-21, 30-22, and 30-21.  The Ravens, though, lost a road district match to a tough Hesston team on September 28.

The Ravens were noogied the first two games by Hesston, 23-30 and 15-30.  The Ravens bounced back to win the third game 30-26, but their comeback attempt was thwarted in the fourth and deciding game, 31-33.

The Ravens are now 18-8 overall, 4-1 in conference play, and 2-2 in district play.  The Ravens are home on Wednesday, October 3, when they host Johnson County at 6:30 p.m. in the beautiful air conditioning of Nellis Hall.
