Seward County raced out to a 38-23 halftime lead and never looked back in defeating the Lady Ravens 74-47 Saturday night at the Jayhawk Shoot-Out in Nellis Hall. The Lady Ravens shot just 30% from the field and were out-rebounded 49-33 by the Lady Saints. Marquita Thompson and Debbie Burris each scored nine points to lead the Lady Ravens who fall to 8-4 on the season. Amanda Foster scored 19 points to lead the Lady Saints and Ewelina Gad had 18. Also in double-figures for Seward County was Whitney Pegram with 14 points. |
