Ravens win easily at Fort Scott 84-69The Red Ravens, expected to compete for the conference championship in 2006, got off to a good start in the conference opener at Fort Scott, defeating the Greyhounds 84-69. The Ravens led 41-24 at the half and held 20+ point leads in the second half. The Ravens, now 7-6 overall, relied on a balanced scoring attack led by Brittany Rochelle with 16 points and Megan Klingler with 15 points. Ashley Coleman added 14 points, Azzie Knox scored 11 and Shyvon Spears recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Ravens out-rebounded the Greyhounds by a 52 to 37 margin and forced 23 Fort Scott turnovers. The Ravens return to action on January 7 when they will host Neosho County at 5 p.m. in Nellis Hall.
