Ravens fall to Seward County 56-50The Coffeyville Red Ravens had an opportunity to knock off the undefeated Seward County Saints Saturday night at the Jayhawk Shoot-Out, but came up just short in a 56-50 loss. Coffeyville led 33-31 at the break and the second half was tight throughout. The Ravens struggled from the field, making 19-of-71 shots. Sade Bowen scored 15 on 7-of-14 shooting to lead the Ravens and Shyvon Spears added 10 points. Azzie Knox reached double-figures with 11 rebounds. Brio Rode scored 15 points for the Saints and Amanda McCue added 14. The Ravens, 6-5 overall, finish the first semester with a road trip on December 7 to the University of Arkansas-Ft. Smith. The Ravens defeated UAFS 77-72 on November 8 at Nellis Hall. |
