Women's basketball hammers Neosho County 83-53The Red Ravens raced out to a 43-26 halftime lead and never looked back in hammering the Neosho County Panthers 83-53 Saturday night at Nellis Hall. Megan Klingler had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Brittany Rochelle scored 18 points to pace the scoring attack. Shyvon Spears added 13 points and seven rebounds and Azzie Knox had 11 points and six rebounds for the Ravens who are now 2-0 in the KJCCC and 8-6 overall. Megan Cameron was the lone Panther in double-figures with 13 points. The Ravens are back in action Wednesday night as they will host Highland at 6 p.m. in Nellis Hall. On Saturday January 14, the Ravens head to Independence to face the intra-county rival Pirates at 6 p.m. |
