#22 Ravens improve to 3-0 in KJCCC with win at Allen

The Ravens moved up to #22 in the latest NJCAA poll after posting their seventh straight win on January 6 at Allen County in Iola. The Ravens defeated the Red Devils 70-63 and improved to 3-0 in the KJCCC and to 13-2 overall.  Brittany Rochelle scored 18 points including a 7-of-8 effort from the free throw line.  Megan Klingler added 11 points from the post for the Ravens.  As a team, the Ravens continued their rebounding dominance of late, out-rebounding the Red Devils 49 to 38.  The Ravens also held an advantage from the free throw line, making 19-of-27 attempts while Allen County struggled, making only 16 of 30 attempts.  Kenya Snider and Taylor Howard had 20 points each for the Red Devils.

The Ravens return to action on January 10 when they host Labette at 6 p.m. in Nellis Hall.  Coffeyville and Labette were KJCCC East Conference Co-Champions last season.  Labette will enter the game 2-0 in KJCCC play and 9-4 overall.
