#18 Ravens rally to beat Fort Scott; conference title in grasp at Cowley on SaturdayThe Red Raven women's basketball team used a 17-0 rally in the last five minutes of Feb. 21's game at Fort Scott to run away from the Greyhounds 93-74. The win sets up a huge game for Coffeyville on Saturday. The Ravens, 15-1 in conference play, will play at Cowley on Saturday. Cowley will enter the contest 14-2 in conference play. A win by the Ravens will give Coffeyville the outright KJCCC East Conference Championship. A loss will likely lead to a share of the conference championship by both teams. Tip off on Saturday will be at 5 p.m. Against Fort Scott, Syeeda Echols scored 21 points to lead the Ravens. Shyvon Spears had 20 points and nine rebounds, and Sade Bowen added 15 points. The Ravens are now 25-3 overall. The record for wins for the Raven women's basketball program is 30, a team that won the Region 6 Championship and finished the year with a 30-7 record.
