#17 Ravens improve to 10-0 in KJCCC with win at IndyIt wasn't pretty, but the Ravens extended their winning streak to 14 games with a 59-49 win at Independence on January 31. Syeeda Echols scored 16 points to pace the offense and Brittany Rochelle added 13 for Coffeyville. Shyvon Spears and Sade Bowen had a team-high 10 rebounds and Spears also contributed eight assists. The Ravens held Independence to 28% shooting from the field on the game, but Coffeyville also struggled, making only 29% of field goal attempts. The Ravens improved to 10-0 in KJCCC East play and to 20-2 overall on the season. The Ravens will have a chance to recover their shooting touch on February 3 when they play Johnson County in Overland Park at 2 p.m. The Ravens return home on February 7 when they host Allen County at 6 p.m. in Nellis Hall. |
