#17 Ravens take tumble at Johnson CountyThe #17 ranked Lady Ravens got away with poor shooting Wednesday night at Independence, but they were not so lucky Saturday evening at Johnson County. The Ravens shot 27% from the field in the first half and 36% for the game in falling to the Cavaliers 74-68. The loss drops the Ravens to 10-1 KJCCC East play and to 20-3 overall. Sade Bowen had 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting to lead the Raven attack and Shyvon Spears contributed a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Tasha Parked added 13 points and Lacie Ward scored 10 for the Ravens. Katy Davenport had a game-high 22 points and added 10 rebounds to lead the Cavaliers. Heather Rourk added 18 points. The Ravens return to action on Wednesday, February 7, when they will host Allen County at 6 p.m. in Nellis Hall. |
