Ravens win pair at Connors State Tournament

Coffeyville 81, North Arkansas College 73 [Boxscore]

The Red Ravens improved to 6-1 on the season after winning a pair of games at the Connors State Tournament on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18.  On Nov. 17, the Ravens defeated North Arkansas College 81-73 as Syeeda Echols paced a balanced scoring attack with 14 points.  Shyvon Spears recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Megan Klingler added 12 points and Brittany Rochelle scored 10.  The Ravens trailed 41-38 at the half, but outscored North Ark 43-32 in the second half to gain the win.

Coffeyville 71, Connors State 68 [Boxscore]

Coffeyville once again trailed at the half, but bounced back to nip Connors State 71-68 on Nov. 18 at the Connors State Tournament in Warner, Oklahoma.  Shyvon Spears had 14 points and nine rebounds to lead the Ravens and Sade Bowen also came close to a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.  Syeeda Echols added 12 points to another balanced scoring attack for the Ravens.
