#25 Ravens hammer Johnson County, improve to 2-0 in conference play

The Ravens clicked on all cylinders in the first half and took a commanding 48-19 lead at halftime on the way to an 82-50 win over Johnson County on January 3.  Shyvon Spears had 23 points and nine rebounds to lead the Ravens and Sade Bowen added a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds.  Asaiah Lowe also had a big game with nine points and 13 rebounds for the Ravens.  The Ravens out-rebounded the Cavaliers by a 61 to 38 margin and also forced the Cavaliers into 26 turnovers.  Katy Davenport had 26 points and eight rebounds for the Johnson County bright spot.  The Ravens improve to 2-0 in KJCCC play and to 12-2 overall.  The Ravens hit the road for a 6 p.m. tip off at Allen County in Iola on January 6.  The Ravens next home game is January 10 when Labette enters Nellis Hall for a 6 p.m. tip.
