#20 Ravens run past Blue Devils, 81-45The #20 ranked Red Ravens had little problem in defeating the Blue Devils 81-45 Wednesday night in Nellis Hall. Lacie Ward and Syeeda Echols scored 13 points each in a balanced scoring attack for the Ravens. Shyvon Spears had another double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Ravens improved to 13-1 in the KJCCC East and to 23-3 overall. The Ravens out-rebounded the Blue Devils by a 54 to 43 margin and the Ravens defense held Kansas City to just 25% shooting from the field. With the win, the Ravens maintain a one-game lead over Cowley in the KJCCC East. The Ravens have a three-game lead over Fort Scott, the third place team in the KJCCC East. The Ravens return to action on Saturday when they will host Neosho County at 5:30 p.m. in Nellis Hall. |
