Ravens defeat UAFS for tenth win of season

The Red Ravens improved to 10-2 on the season after defeating Arkansas-Fort Smith 75-56 on December 9 at Nellis Hall.  The Ravens led by just three at the break, 40-37, but outscored the Lions 35-19 in the second half to pull away for the win.  Shyvon Spears had 16 points to pace a balanced Ravens attack and Syeeda Echols added 15 points.  Megan Klingler and Sade Bowen both had 10 points and Bowen had a team-high nine rebounds.  The Ravens out-rebounded the Lions 42 to 29 for the game.  Katorra Lewis and Chanlee Bottoms both had 10 points for the Lions and Elisa Shoate had a game-high 10 rebounds.  The Ravens will play at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri on December 11.  Tip off for the final first semester game is at 7 p.m.
