Full-Time
Position located at Pratt Community College (Pratt, Kan.)
Technical instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Innovation & Business Initiatives for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement. The Electrical Instructor is responsible for the safety, security, and operation of the College Electrical Technology instructional area and equipment located on the Pratt Campus.
Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):
- Teach courses as assigned by the Vice President for Innovation & Business Initiatives, Coffeyville, and the Dean of Technical Instruction, Pratt campus.
- Coordinate the Electrical instruction curriculum.
- Oversee the operation of the college electrical technology classroom, shop, including the security, supplies, maintenance, and supervision of students located on the Pratt campus.
- Revise and update course materials and content to keep program curriculum current to meet industry standards.
- Develop new courses and program initiatives as assigned.
- Advise and enroll students according to established procedures at the Pratt campus.
- Maintain instructional budget within established policies and budget parameters.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Qualifications
- Proven teaching ability to communicate and demonstrate the necessary electrical skills to all age groups and education levels.
- Ability to pass and maintain a Kansas Journeyman’s license within one year of accepting employment with the College.
- An understanding of the role of advisory committees for program improvement, student placement, and relevance of skills taught in the program.
- Willingness to assist in grant activities for the continual improvement of the program area.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Required Experience
A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college or technical school or at least five years experience in business or industry in a position relating to the subject area. Experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and workshops.
Required Education
A Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in the teaching field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is preferred.

The Director of Financial Aid shall be responsible to the Executive Vice President for College Affairs & Student Services for the management of student financial assistance on institutional, local, state and federal sources and personnel matters. Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Responsible for the management of the Financial Aid Office and the implementation of federal financial aid regulations.
- Work with area high school counselors, parents, and prospective students to disseminate information regarding the application procedures for filing for federal financial aid and applying for available scholarship opportunities
- Responsible for the completion of federal, state and institutional financial aid reporting including overseeing the Title IV funds.
- Oversee and assist with the work study program.
- Responsible for all student loans the awarding and disbursing of loans.
- Oversee and have a working knowledge of software updates to the Department of Ed software, EdConnect and ED Express, plus PowerFaids.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written; ability to work in a one-on-one situation with students and their families.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other department staff, faculty, students and public.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local financial aid programs.
- Knowledge of Veteran Administration Regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret complex federal financial aid guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of computerized student financial aid database systems.
- Must be able to initiate and plan without direct supervision.
- Ability to follow established procedures while being flexible and fair with regard to procedures which require administrative decisions.
Required Education and Experience
- At least three years experience in a college financial aid office.
- At least three years experience working in a community college or university setting.
- Experience in the application of state and federal regulations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Director of Student Life/Resident Hall Director
Ability to enforce institutional policies, work with a diverse student population, and resolve conflicts required. Responsibilities include planning and supervising student activities and security and maintaining a quality living environment for all students. Bachelor’s degree required/Master Degree preferred. This is a full-time, 12 month position and includes room and board. Assistant Baseball Coach/English Instructor
Teach classes in English and Written Communications. Other duties include, but are not limited to; student advisement, committee participation and curriculum development and duties as outlined in the negotiated Memorandum of Agreement. Assistant Baseball Coaching duties include assisting the Head Baseball Coach in the management of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work with various public and diverse populations.
- Ability to stimulate motivation, confidence and enthusiasm in students.
- An understanding of student learning processes and curriculum development.
- Willingness to enforce institutional policies and procedures.
- A knowledge of baseball as a team sports.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
A Master’s degree in English with 18 graduate hours in English or closely related field is preferred. Experience in community college teaching is preferred. At least three years coaching/participation experience is required.

The PC Technician shall be responsible to the Dean of Technology for the development of a centralized computing and management information system and provide user support for institutional technology operations.
- Assist with conversion and support of institutional software
- Work cooperatively with the Information Technology department to guide the direction and priorities of the development of a central computing capability at the college.
- Research the acquisition and installation of computer hardware.
- Manage in-house software development projects.
- Coordinate and advise other activities/departments concerning computing equipment, staff development and software.
- Provide leadership and assist in the development of comprehensive user’s manuals.
- Schedule and maintain a regular back-up system.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Good organization skills, with special attention to details.
- In-depth understanding of the issues involved in management information systems, office automation, and instructional computing in a higher education environment.
- Capable of performing the procedures involved in systems analysis.
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of the operations and procedures of a Network Administration System.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Two years of experience in technical support.
