Instructor Shawn Parker earned his Associate of Applied Science, as well as certifications in A+, Network+, and Security+. He was hired as the Information Systems Technology Instructor in 2012. Prior to coming to CCC, he served in the U.S. Army for 8 years where he worked in Information Technology and was deployed to Iraq. During his military career he taught various classes including military ranging from weapons to night vision equipment. Parker completed his I.T. certification at CCC while doing On-the-Job training for CVR Energy. Parker really enjoys teaching and providing students with hands-on training  opportunities in the classroom. He enjoys it most when students learn to apply what he has taught them without his help. In his spare time he is a HUGE video gamer!
