What is a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is an industry-recognized, portable, evidence-based credential that certifies essential skills needed for workplace success.

A National Career Readiness Certificate identifies your skill levels in three specific areas:

  • Applied Mathematics
  • Graphic Literacy
  • Workplace Documents

These WorkKeys assessments measure “real world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success. Test questions are based on situations in the everyday world of work.

There are four achievement levels for the NCRC: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
