Come and tour the campus and see what’s available. Prepare yourself for future employment opportunities or advance in your present profession.

Contact your high school counselor to tour the CCC-Columbus Technical Campus’ programs and see if technical education is right for you.

Programs offered in Columbus include Automotive Service Technology, Business and Computer Technology, Collision Repair Technology, Construction Technology, & Welding Technology

“The job outlook is very promising in the welding field. I’ve see a high demand for welders locally and in fabrication shops. There is a large demand for pipe welders in the construction field nationwide”, state Todd Madl, Welding Instructor. “Thompson Brothers in Coffeyville has partnered with Lincoln Electric to bring the VRTEX 360 arc welding simulator to CCC Tech Days.  Students will be able to practice their welding techniques in a simulated environment that reflects a welding booth which will be a cool addition for students to try out.”

Students who attend CCC-Columbus learn a trade and earn college credit while still in high school. Kansas high school students can enroll in a technical program tuition free. High school students who start a technical program as a junior can earn a technical certificate simultaneous to high school graduation.
