University Outreach Programs
K-State has partnered with community and technical colleges throughout Kansas to offer working professionals the opportunity to earn an associate degree locally and then a bachelor’s degree through distance education. To learn more about this opportunity, click the link below.

Southwestern College Professional Studies accepts up to 64 credit hours from any accredited community college. Additionally, Southwestern College has signed 2 + 2 agreements with Coffeyville Community College which allows for learners to complete two years at CCC followed by two years at Southwestern College, completing the requirements for a bachelor’s degree along the way.

Sterling College (Sterling, Kansas) is offering an online Elementary Education program for Coffeyville students. CCC students will be allowed to transfer up to 60 credit hours to Sterling College. These courses will be accepted as equivalent to Sterling College courses. Students in this program will continue to have access to library and computer labs while completing their degree through Sterling College. There is financial aid available for students who qualify. Those completing this program will do their student teaching in Coffeyville and area communities.
