EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY
PROGRAM
Program Attendance
Policy
Students must be prompt for all sessions and
complete assignments before coming to class.
Any student that has more than three absences will
automatically be dropped from the program.
Special consideration will be given in cases of
emergencies. These will be evaluated on an
individual basis. The instructor will make the
final decision in all cases. The class will
start promptly at their scheduled time. Three tardies will constitute one
unexcused absence. Nine tardies will
constitute automatic dropping of the student.
EXCUSED ABSENCES:
Illness (documentation may be requested) or death in
immediate family. All other excuses must be
validated by I/C PRIOR to the absence.
UNEXCUSED ABSENCES:
Any excuse not deemed acceptable by I/C. If
you miss class for any reason other than the
aforementioned, you MUST request I/C approval PRIOR
to the absence.
