CCC Scholarship Policy
- Coffeyville Community College offers scholarships on a competitive basic for academics,
activities, and athletics.
- Scholarship recipients must be full-time students and be making reasonable progress
toward a degree.
- Scholarships for academic, activity, and athletic programs cover expenses for Kansas
tuition and loan of books each semester, unless otherwise noted.
- All students are responsible for the payment of institutional fees.
- Books must be returned to the Bookstore during the scheduled buy-back dates at the
end of each semester or the student will be charged for those books.
- Activity/athletic sponsors may submit a written appeal to the Executive Vice President
for College Affairs & Student Services for exceptions to the scholarship policy.
- The maximum scholarship award is the Presidential Scholarship, which pays Kansas
tuition and loan of books, plus a $500 stipend toward the residence hall per semester.
- Students may only receive one institutional scholarship.
- Students must meet all institutional requirements as per the scholarship agreement
to be eligible for the scholarship the following semester, i.e. minimum grade point
average, attendance, activity participation, and/or meet NJCAA eligibility rules
in athletics.
- Students will remain on the original scholarship, unless special circumstances warrant
a change. Activity sponsors must agree to the scholarship change as well as obtain
approval from the Executive Vice President for College Affairs & Student Services.
- If a student does not meet the scholarship and/or institutional requirements each
semester, Coffeyville Community College reserves the right to revoke the scholarship
award. (i.e. disciplinary reasons, lack of attendance, and/or missed performances.)
