Federal Work Study

Fall 2008 Available Work Study Positions

Federal Work Study is a need based employment program where students are allowed the chance to work an on-campus or a community service job in order to earn funds to help with their educational expenses.  Students must file the FAFSA and complete all necessary financial aid paperwork before they can apply for work study.  For questions or further work study information, please contact Kim Felix at (620) 252-7079.

If you qualify for Federal Work Study, the following steps must be completed.

1.  Fill out the Federal Work Study Application (PDF).
2.  Complete the W-4 Form.  [W-4 Form at the IRS Web Site]
3.  Complete the I-9 Form.  [I-9 Form at the Department of Homeland Security's Web Site]
4.  Complete the K-4 Form. [K-4 Form at the Kansas Department of Revenue Web Site]

Completed forms need to be submitted to Kim Felix in the Financial Aid Office.
