How To Pay For School
One of the big changes from high school to college is the requirement that students find a way to pay for a portion of their education. For a majority of community college students, this can be a philosophical challenge to overcome when education has been “free” through high school, and a literal one in actually finding the money to pay for school.
Funding for college can come from a number of sources. Many students use income from a job to help pay for school. Other students use money from personal savings while some students can use money from a 529 College Savings Plan. Some students will even receive assistance from good ol’ Mom and Dad or another relative.
Beyond that, a slew of financial aid opportunities are available. To learn more about those, click here.
