Fountain
What would a
college campus be without a place for students and staff to mingle?
One such place on the CCC campus is the fountain area, immediately east of
the Student Union. Soaping the fountain has become an annual student
tradition in the days prior to graduation. On other days during warm
weather, the fountain area is a quiet place to study or to sit back and
relax. Between the fountain and the Student Union is an area called
the Friendship Circle. During homecoming and for other special campus
events, the circle is decorated with the flags representing the countries of
the CCC student body. Although the majority of the college's
students are from Kansas, a diverse student body will be found representing
several states and nations from across the globe. |
