Vice President for Academic Services

The Vice President for Academic Services oversees the academic educational policy and programs of instruction and all matters relating to the effectiveness and development of the faculty and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the College’s curriculum. This individual also provides strategic and operational leadership and direction for all instructional academic programs, academic advisements, academic transfer related issues, career services and counseling, disability and special accommodation, Library services, student learning and program assessment. This individual supports the faculty’s teaching, scholarly, and creative activities; oversees accreditation of academic programs; and advises the President on faculty personnel matters including hiring, promotion, tenure and EEOC policies. Additional responsibilities include development and recommendations on the annual budgets included in the above areas; control over all funds allocated for the various areas; collaboration with other divisions; development and support of continuing assessment and improvement of all academic endeavors; monitors all accreditation issues and ensures that the College retains accreditation for all academic programs; and serves as the academic liaison for the College. The Vice President will also serve as a spokesperson for the institution to keep the community informed of academic educational programs and opportunities available by participating in college and community organizations, being available for speaking engagements, and staying abreast of legislative issues as they pertain to the educational environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years experience working in a community college, a minimum of three years experience working in an administrative capacity, preferably in a postsecondary institution, and Experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.

A Doctoral Degree is preferred. A Master’s Degree is required from an accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.

Assistant Cheer and Dance Coach

The Assistant Cheer and Dance Coach reports to the Head Cheer and Dance Coach. This individual will be responsible for recruiting student athletes from the state of Kansas as well as assisting in the management of this activity program.

Requires an ability to effectively work with various public and diverse populations. Human relation skills of ordinary courtesy, understanding and ability to stimulate motivation, confidence and enthusiasm in students; willingness to enforce institutional policies and procedures; ability to coordinate with campus personnel to resolve problem conflicts; a fundamental knowledge of cheerleading, gymnastic and dance techniques; valid driver’s license.

At least three years coaching/participation experience, and a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

EMT-P Instructor

Instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the respective Vice President for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The EMT-P instructor is responsible for the instruction of the EMT and EMT-P Program curriculum as assigned.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college. A minimum of two years field experience as an EMT-Paramedic with an ambulance service or hospital. Experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in the field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education.  A Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred.  Current EMT-P certification, CPR certification, Instructor/Coordinator (I/C) certification, and ACLS certification is required.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College is currently accepting applications for CDL drivers who are interested in driving student busses on an as needed basis.  The position requires a CDL with the passenger and air brake endorsement.  If you are interested in picking up some driving hours on weekends or during the week, we would like to add you to our driver pool.  To apply, submit a completed application, background check authorization form, copy of CDL driver’s physical card and DMV driving record to Human Resource Dept, Coffeyville Community College, 400 West 11th, Coffeyville, KS  67337.  CCC is an EOE.

Groundskeeper

The groundskeeper shall be responsible to the Superintendent of Grounds for all grounds maintenance and equipment. Experience in maintenance and repair of grounds and related equipment.

High School Diploma, or its equivalent.  Prefer completion of a landscaping or horticulture program at a technical school, community college, or university, or comparable experience as a groundskeeper is preferred.
