Support Specialist

The Support Specialist is a 40 hour a week position and shall be responsible to the Dean of Institutional Research & Enrollment Management to provide support to various departments campus wide.   Duties will include but not be limited to written/oral communication, quality customer service, switchboard functions, data entry, postal needs of the institution, general clerical and support activities of individual departments or programs.

At least two years experience performing the duties of a secretary, including organizing an office and meeting the public; at least one year experience operating a computer; at least one year experience working with the public/customers.

High school diploma or its equivalent is required.  An associate degree or technical certificate in business and/or secretarial skills is preferred.

Video Technology and Photo Specialist

The Video Technology and Photo Specialist is a twelve month position responsible for developing and designing digital media publications to support the marketing, recruiting and retention mission of the institution.  This includes, but not limited to, effective concept development, content gathering, layout, illustration, production and programming media productions for the Marketing Department and the institution.   The individual is also responsible for CCC’s cable channel which includes content and program development airing on the college channel.   Additional this position is responsible for photographic services for institutional needs, the digital information and manual marquee signage and the event and production equipment college wide.

At least two years’ experience with relevant technology resources including hardware and software;  experience with Adobe Creative Suite; experience in design and layout and familiarity with Photoshop and ability to work with digital image files.

Bachelors’ Degree is required.  A Master’s degree is preferred. Graphic Design, Multi-Media Production, Communications, Marketing or related field highly desirable.

External Media Specialist

The External Media Specialist is a twelve month position and shall be responsible to the Director of Marketing for creative design and layout of college publications and/or written materials for all projects assigned.   This position will often focus on the programs at the Coffeyville Community College Technical Campus and Columbus Technical Campus. This individual is also responsible for the Social Media marketing/recruiting/retention campaign for the College which includes but is not limited to creating relevant content and strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, cultivate and responding to comments, blogging, community participation and leadership.

Experience in graphic lay-out and/or professional publications; experience in meeting deadlines, working under pressure and working with a diverse group of individuals; experience with social media outlets.

Bachelors’ Degree is required.   Master’s preferred.   Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related fields highly desirable.

Assistant Football Coach/Offensive Line

Assistant Director of Student Life

The Assistant Director of Student Life is responsible to the Director of Student Life for overseeing the students and operations of Walker/Powell Halls.   This is a full-time, 12 month, live-in position which includes being available twenty-four hours a day when individuals are housed in the facility.

Agriculture Director

The Agriculture Director is responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for the recruiting of agriculture students as well as a liaison within the agriculture community. The Director will also serve as the primary academic advisor for the agriculture students, sponsor the agriculture clubs and activities.

Theatre Director

Nursing Instructor (Full-Time)

Instructional staff/faculty of the Nursing Program at Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Nursing Program Director for instructional and personnel matters, and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Nursing Program Instructor is responsible for the instruction of PN and RN core curriculum as assigned, and to ensure student success on state licensure.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; minimum of two years field experience as an RN with a healthcare facility; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

For PN classroom nursing instruction: a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. A Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

For the RN classroom nursing instruction:  a minimum of Master’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

The Assistant Athletic Trainer shall be responsible to the Head Athletic Trainer and will assist in all aspects of operating the Athletic Medicine program and facilities. This includes athletic training coverage of the CCC athletic teams, utilizing the six major athletic training practice domains, recruiting, supervising and developing student workers.

Requires Proven teaching and athletic training abilities, ability to effectively work with various publics and diverse populations. Human Relation skills of ordinary courtesy, understanding and ability to stimulate motivation, confidence and enthusiasm in students, and self-motivated.

At least four years athletic training experience, preferably at the post-secondary level, current NATA-BOC certification, current member of the NATA, Kansas State licensure or eligible, current CPR/First Aid certification, and a master’s degree required from an accredited institution of higher learning as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach for assisting in the management of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and team.

A strong knowledge of the game of basketball. In particular, strength in recruiting is of importance on both a state and national level. Willingness to enforce institutional policies. Ability to coordinate with campus personnel to resolve problems/conflicts. Ability to work with diverse populations and various constituencies.

At least three years coaching and recruiting experience preferably at the post-secondary level. Teaching experience preferred.

CDL Drivers
