Director of Technology

The Director of Technology is responsible to the Vice President for Innovation and Business Initiatives for the leadership and supervision of campus-wide technology; maintaining, administering and supporting the College databases and software, including but not limited to Jenzabar EX, Jenzabar Internet Campus Solutions (JICS), PowerFAIDS; and, the management of the campus-wide network.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  research and implementation of the college technology plan; development and support of a centralized computing and management information system; and, providing user support for institutional technology operations.

Five years experience in technical support and computer applications; Working knowledge of relational databases particularly MS SQL Server/MySQL; experience in managing an enterprise grade database; familiarity with one or more reporting tools and data integration tools; prefer experience with a higher education administrative software suite such as Jenzabar.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.  Industry-recognized certifications are highly recommended.

Instrumental Music Instructor

The Instructional Music Instructor is responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for developing and designing an effective instrumental music department and experience to support the teaching and learning needs of the College as well as to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  Additionally the instrumental music instructor is responsible for recruiting students, organizing, conducting and the production of Pep band performances for campus-wide recruiting efforts and all home football and basketball games.  This includes overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the instrumental music facilities and equipment.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and workshops and/or teaching experience;  experience in directing pep, concert, jazz and/or marching bands; experience working with students on an individual basis; experience with student recruitment activities.

A Master’s Degree in the field or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

External Media Specialist

The External Media Specialist is a twelve month position and shall be responsible to the Director of Marketing for creative design and layout of college publications and/or written materials for all projects assigned.   This position will often focus on the programs at the Coffeyville Community College Technical Campus and Columbus Technical Campus. This individual is also responsible for the Social Media marketing/recruiting/retention campaign for the College which includes but is not limited to creating relevant content and strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, cultivate and responding to comments, blogging, community participation and leadership.

Experience in graphic lay-out and/or professional publications; experience in meeting deadlines, working under pressure and working with a diverse group of individuals; experience with social media outlets.

Bachelors’ Degree is required.   Master’s preferred.   Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related fields highly desirable.

Assistant Director of Student Life

The Assistant Director of Student Life is responsible to the Director of Student Life for overseeing the students and operations of Walker/Powell Halls.   This is a full-time, 12 month, live-in position which includes being available twenty-four hours a day when individuals are housed in the facility.

At least two years of experience in a supervisor role required. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.  A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Agriculture Director

The Agriculture Director is responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for the recruiting of agriculture students as well as a liaison within the agriculture community. The Director will also serve as the primary academic advisor for the agriculture students, sponsor the agriculture clubs and activities.

Welding Instructor (Coffeyville, Kan.)

Technical instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Innovation & Business Initiatives for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Welding Instructor is responsible for the safety, security, and operation of the Welding Center.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college or technical school, or a minimum of five years of pipe welding experience in industry; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and workshops.

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  An industry-recognized certification and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Medical Assistant Instructor

Technical instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Innovation for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Medical Assisting Instructor is responsible for instruction of the Medical Assisting program curriculum as assigned.

A minimum of three years field experience as a Medical Assistant; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in the field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education.  A Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred.  Current Medical Assistant certifications are required.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

The Assistant Athletic Trainer shall be responsible to the Head Athletic Trainer and will assist in all aspects of operating the Athletic Medicine program and facilities. This includes athletic training coverage of the CCC athletic teams, utilizing the six major athletic training practice domains, recruiting, supervising and developing student workers.

Requires Proven teaching and athletic training abilities, ability to effectively work with various publics and diverse populations. Human Relation skills of ordinary courtesy, understanding and ability to stimulate motivation, confidence and enthusiasm in students, and self-motivated.

At least four years athletic training experience, preferably at the post-secondary level, current NATA-BOC certification, current member of the NATA, Kansas State licensure or eligible, current CPR/First Aid certification, and a master’s degree required from an accredited institution of higher learning as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

CDL Drivers
