#3 Ravens dunk past #17 Kansas City

Dawon Cummings, shown in a game from earlier this season, led the Ravens with 25 points in Saturday night's 89-72 win over Kansas City.
The #3 ranked Coffeyville Red Ravens plowed through #17 Kansas City 89-72 on Saturday night in a game that featured several highlight reel dunks by the Ravens. Dawon Cummings scored 25 points to pace the Ravens offense. Charles Hammork and Jelani Poston added 19 points each for Coffeyville. Hammork dished out seven assists and Cummings was credited with six assists. Chadrack Lufile had a team-high eight rebounds as the Ravens held a 36 to 27 rebounding edge over the Blue Devils.
Brandon Morris led the Blue Devils with 14 points, one of five KCK players to hit double-figures in scoring.
Coffeyville improves to 17-1 overall on the season and to 6-0 in Jayhawk East play. The Ravens will host Fort Scott on Wednesday night in Nellis Hall. Tip off is at 8 p.m. with the women's game preceding at 6 p.m.
