Coffeyville Community College will host the annual Scholarship Auction on April 30. The auction will take place in Nellis Hall and doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Appetizers will be served at 5:00 and dinner will follow.

“This will be the 31st year we have had the auction,” said Sally Presson, Scholarship Auction Organizer. “It is such a great event because 100 percent of the proceeds go to student scholarships here are CCC.”

The auction was started in 1984 by Terry Beeson, who was the Foundation Director at the time.

“The auction has evolved so much over the years,” said Presson. “It has turned in to an all-inclusive community event; we could not do it without the support of our wonderful community.”

The auction theme is “Hold on to Your Hats,” which encourages those in attendance to wear a hat in conjunction with their red and white Raven gear.

Early bird pricing is set at $25 per person. At door pricing is $30 per person.
